Hi Reader, There are many things we are taught to not do: Don’t text while driving 🚗 Don’t swim on a full stomach 🏊 Don’t eat raw eggs 🥚 Don’t go on a hike without telling folks where you’re going 🚶 Don’t turn your back to the ocean 🌊 Don’t do pretty much anything alone if you’re a woman 🤷 This next one might not be on your top 10 list, but it’s just as important to your well being: Don’t write a book alone. ✍️ Think of it like climbing a mountain. You wouldn’t tackle Everest without a guide, a team, and a plan, would you? Writing a book is no different. You need guidance, encouragement, and the right tools to make it to the summit. If it’s so hard, then why bother writing a book? Because writing a book is one of the best ways to establish yourself as an expert, share your knowledge with the world, and bring more people into your universe with a low-price product. But again, if you don’t know what you’re doing and don’t include the right things in your book, you won’t get your message across and include the things that hungry readers are looking for. When it comes to writing your first book, not doing it alone and doing it right are why I created the Books with Purpose Workshop. In just one day, you will know where to start your book, what it should include, create an outline, and know all the steps to complete it. You can get all the details here. Don’t let fear or doubt stop you from writing a book that could transform your life and business. Take the first step today: Get your free pass to the Books With Purpose Workshop! 🎟️ Use coupon code 'freeforme' and this ticket to register for free It’s free if you sign up by this Friday, December 20, by midnight PST (after Friday, it’s still a bargain at $97). Write the book you’ve been dreaming of and see what I’m talking about! See you in the workshop, Carrie |

Hi Reader, I’m writing to you under the pull of a full moon, watching the last of these short days limp into winter, with the familiar yearning to do as close to nothing as possible. This is the time of year for hibernation, stillness, and reflection. Three of my favorite activities. Yet, I rarely take the time to honor the season and energy of composting. Well, this year, I am. I’m taking off all of next week until the new year to sleep, read, stay in my PJs, walk in the woods, and eat...
Hi Reader, I always wanted to own a real-life shop that I could invite folks into. It would have art on the walls (like literally painted on the walls), cozy nooks to curl up in for a chat or to read a book, gluten-free pastries (the good ones, not the ones like bricks), the smell of coffee wafting… I’d sell books, crafts from women around the world, hippie-looking clothes…basically all the things I like to surround myself with. 😉 If I’d done that, I’m sure I’d have gone out of business...
